There are a number of ways to enhance and beautify a garden without spending a lot of money. Creating paths can be both practical and visually pleasing. While some paths create a feeling of welcome into a garden space, providing access to the planted areas, other paths are good for keeping the mud out of the house. A path should be level and easy to walk on. Other possible places to consider a path would be in an area that has a lot of foot traffic - from the driveway to the front door, through a lawn to the hot tub, on the side of the house, where the trash cans live.
